When you sign up, we ask for your name and email address. In your profile you can optionally add your phone number, Handicap ID, handicap index, and a profile photo. As you use the app, we store your course handicaps, the scores and bets from rounds you play, and which club you belong to.
We don't collect your location, your contacts, or anything from outside FLOG Games. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
Your name and email log you in. Your scores and handicap make the games run. Your club affiliation lets you see your group's rounds and leaderboards.
About clubs. Choosing a club when you sign up (or adding one later in your profile) is what lists you as a member of that club. Other FLOG Games members of the same club can then see your name and the rounds you've played with them, which is how they add you to a game and how leaderboards work. Your email address and phone number are never shown to them. Clubs are opt-in: if you'd rather not be listed, don't select a club, and you can still keep score and play with people you invite directly. To be removed from a club later, email privacy@floggames.com.
If you choose to connect your Handicap ID, FLOG Games exchanges data with the United States Golf Association. This never happens without your consent: nothing is sent until you check the consent box in your profile, and we record when you agreed.
What we send. Your Handicap ID and last name, to confirm the record is yours. Your hole-by-hole scores go to the USGA only when you tap to post a round; we never post automatically.
What we receive. Your name, club, and Handicap Index®, so the app can show them. We display these values fresh from the USGA rather than keeping our own copy of your scoring record.
What we keep. Your Handicap ID, the date you consented, and a receipt for each score you posted (when, which course, and the USGA's response). The receipt never includes the hole-by-hole scores; those live in your round like any other round.
Disconnecting. You can disconnect in your profile at any time. When you do, we notify the USGA to revoke the connection and we erase the handicap data we hold about you, including your Handicap ID and any cached Handicap Index®. Reconnecting later starts with a fresh consent.
Your data lives in a Supabase database on servers operated by Supabase, Inc. The connection between your browser and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider, so we never see them in plain text.
You can delete your account yourself: open your profile in the app and choose Delete my account. It takes effect immediately. Your name, contact details, and handicap data are erased, and if you had connected your Handicap ID, the USGA connection is revoked and that data is erased too.
Shared history from rounds you played stays with the people you played them with, but without your identity attached. If you'd rather we handle it, email privacy@floggames.com and we'll do the same within 30 days.
